Sakamoto Days is one of the most distinctive action-comedy anime of 2025, combining high-speed combat, sharp humor, and a surprisingly warm family story centered on former legendary hitman Taro Sakamoto. Based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, the series follows a once-feared assassin who retired after falling in love with Aoi, married her, became a father, and now runs a neighborhood store while trying to protect his peaceful life from the criminal underworld. Even after leaving the assassin world, Sakamoto remains a target because his past keeps catching up with him, forcing him to rely on skill, improvisation, and the help of allies like Shin Asakura and Lu Shaotang. The anime adaptation premiered in January 2025 and is produced by TMS Entertainment, with Netflix distributing the series worldwide. Because the story blends memorable fights, eccentric assassins, family dynamics, and a lively cast of supporting characters, Sakamoto Days is an excellent foundation for a challenging quiz. From Taro Sakamoto’s past as the ultimate hitman to the Order, the Dondenkai, and the many enemies and allies surrounding the Sakamoto family, the franchise offers a rich source of trivia for both casual viewers and dedicated fans. It is also especially strong for SEO because fans frequently search for Sakamoto Days quiz, Taro Sakamoto trivia, Shin Asakura quiz, and hard Sakamoto Days questions. That combination of action, comedy, and character-driven storytelling makes the series ideal for a comprehensive anime quiz experience.

A strong Sakamoto Days quiz should start with the series’ core premise, because the entire story is built on the contrast between ordinary family life and the violent world of assassins. The anime is based on Yuto Suzuki’s manga and follows Taro Sakamoto, a retired hitman who abandoned the underworld after falling in love with Aoi, the convenience store clerk who later became his wife. After marriage, fatherhood, and a quieter life, Sakamoto becomes physically out of shape, but he remains extraordinarily dangerous and continues protecting his family and store from threats. The main cast includes Taro Sakamoto, Shin Asakura, Lu Shaotang, Aoi Sakamoto, Hana Sakamoto, Heisuke Mashimo, Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi, all of whom contribute to the story’s action and comedy. The anime premiered on January 11, 2025, and consists of 22 episodes in its first season, with Netflix listed as the streaming platform for the series. The official premise emphasizes that Sakamoto was once feared by villains and revered by hitmen, but now he must defend his beloved family from relentless assassin attacks. TMS Entertainment handles the animation, and Masaki Watanabe is credited as director, with Taku Kishimoto handling series composition. Because the world of Sakamoto Days is populated by hitmen, rival organizations, and unusual combat encounters, questions can cover both character knowledge and plot details. For SEO purposes, strong related terms include Sakamoto Days anime quiz, Taro Sakamoto quiz, Shin Asakura trivia, Lu Shaotang questions, and Sakamoto Days 2025 anime.

What makes Sakamoto Days especially fun for trivia is the way it balances absurd comedy with tightly staged action and a surprisingly emotional family core. Taro Sakamoto’s no-kill rule creates constant tension, since he must neutralize enemies without abandoning the values that define his new life. Shin Asakura adds a major supernatural edge to the story through his read-mind ability, while Lu Shaotang brings a different kind of energy through her own combat skills and chaotic personality. The supporting cast deepens the quiz potential even further, especially characters tied to the assassin hierarchy, including members of the Order such as Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi. The series also works well as a trivia subject because its action sequences are easy to remember, yet the characters’ relationships, loyalties, and backstories reward careful viewers. A good quiz can ask about the Sakamoto family store, Sakamoto’s retirement, Shin’s role in the story, the major enemies he faces, and the organizations that shape the assassin underworld. Since the anime adapts a hit manga that already built a strong fanbase, it has enough depth for easy, medium, and hard questions alike. That makes Sakamoto Days ideal for a quiz format that alternates between character identification, plot memory, and more difficult lore-based questions. Its blend of stylish violence, everyday warmth, and memorable supporting characters gives creators a lot of room to design engaging trivia across multiple difficulty levels.
